Project Overview:
"A Commemoration for the Forgotten" is the technology of Guangwei [History Reappearance].
This work created a domestic precedent of "historical reproduction (red theme) + film technology + VR presentation". Using the most cutting-edge technology, you can immersively restore the shocking red history of the year.
In 1931, at the Longhua Detention Center of Shanghai Songhu Garrison Command, 24 revolutionaries including Lin Yunan and He Mengxiong were secretly shot and killed by the Kuomintang. In order to cherish the memory of the martyrs and reproduce this red history, we use VR to restore the history of the highest technical level. A large number of historical documents were researched in the early stage, and content research and plot involved were carried out. In the 3000 square meters studio, compared with the Longhua Detention Center for 1:1 scene construction, the crew used hundreds of people for production. The groundbreaking combination of top-notch "movie production" & "game rendering technology" & "VR presentation" is a perfect combination to produce works that can immerse the audience in the history of the year to the greatest extent.
This work won the "Golden Duo Award" of the 2nd China Virtual Reality Creation Competition and the Silver Award of the Asian Advanced Dynamic Impact Competition.
A real thing: We once produced a red VR movie "Red Polder" with "Chairman Mao" as the protagonist. When the VR content video of "Chairman Mao" was shown to an old man in his seventies, the old man burst into tears when he saw "Chairman Mao"! This is not brought by any other means, which also confirms the value of our project.
How the project enhances the user experience:
1. Possess the world's top VR history restoration technology.
The integrated large-scale VR film and television technology of 1:1 setting studio + real-life performance + post-CG. 4 sets of VR photography solutions, 3A game-level development engine rendering, 16-track mixing, 720° VR panoramic sound, 6K resolution, and a dynamic range of more than 14EV.
2. Huge production scale.
50,000 words of research data, half a year of preliminary preparation, a production team of hundreds of people, a 3000 square meter studio setting, film-level artist, lighting engineer, special effects makeup.
3. Sophisticated content design.
First-person immersive experience, returning to the historical scene. From entering the play, advancing, climax to the final sublimation, it brings unparalleled immersive shock to the audience.
4. Numerous domestic and international awards.
The Asian Advanced Motion Picture Award, the Golden Duo Award of the 2nd China VR Competition and so on.
VR history restoration projects have a huge market.
"Don't forget the past, forge ahead", commemorating our predecessors and reviewing history are the cornerstones of our progress. Therefore, there will be museums, celebrity exhibition halls, and party history halls throughout the country and around the world. However, the traditional methods are very laborious to convey to the audience. They are often presented in the form of words, pictures, sculptures, explanations, documentaries, etc. These methods require the audience to understand and receive.
But VR technology can completely subvert this experience and form! With 360° scenes, panoramic sound, and first-person, through VR equipment, users can be completely in the environment of the year and participate in historical events. What kind of shock is this!
To achieve such a technology, a deep understanding of VR content is required to involve the optimal solution; mature film production capabilities are required, capable of restoring history through setting, props, actors, costumes, etc.; a leading technical team is required to be able to Optimize panoramic video in the field of virtual reality. These are exactly what we are good at.
